Lead Process Engineer (m/f/d) (Flue Gas Cleaning)

Location: Darmstadt or Kaiserslautern, Germany; global travel for approximately 30–50 days per year

What you will do

• Lead process and product studies, calculations, equipment sizing, and dimensioning for sales, delivery, lifecycle, and R&D projects.
• Define technical solutions and process concepts, prepare technical specifications, and develop cost estimates with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Continue engineering activities in cooperation with hirify.global disciplines, sub-suppliers, and customers.
• Support commissioning, test runs, customer training, site visits, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Monitor process follow-ups, analyses, and inputs for customer service agreements.
• Act as a technical expert and key customer contact for flue gas cleaning technologies and lifecycle solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy & Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company, equipment supplier, or similar industrial environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German required.
• Strong technical knowledge of air emission control and flue gas treatment systems.
• Experience in energy production, pulp and paper, panel board, mineral wool, or related industries is relevant.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, collaborate with customers and suppliers, and deliver under changing project conditions and tight deadlines.
