Process Engineer in Metal Forming (Python)

MT Aerospace, a subsidiary of hirify.global, develops and manufactures metal and fibre-composite components for launch vehicles, satellites, spacecraft, space infrastructure, and aircraft.

What you will do

• Develop, optimise, and industrialise metal forming processes.
• Develop and maintain Python applications for process control, data analysis, and process optimisation.
• Analyse and improve manufacturing processes with regard to quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate tests, then implement sustainable process improvements.
• Digitalise and automate manufacturing and evaluation processes using modern programming methods.
• Support series production and collaborate with Production, Design, Quality Assurance, and Industrial Engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial metal fabrication and forming processes.
• Good programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Experience programming industrial robots, preferably KUKA systems, and working with bus systems and industrial automation technology.
• Analytical, structured, independent working style with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken German and English required.

• Basic knowledge of NC programming.
