Process Engineer (m/w/d) (Dry and Wet Etching)

What you will do

• Ensure stable, capable, and reproducible dry and wet etching processes in daily semiconductor manufacturing.
• Monitor process performance using SPC, process capability indicators, and manufacturing data analysis.
• Investigate process deviations, non-conforming lots, and yield excursions, driving corrective actions and defect reduction.
• Design, execute, analyze, and document experiments to improve capability, productivity, quality, and cost performance.
• Support the qualification, release, implementation, and technology transfer of new processes, materials, and equipment.
• Create process documentation and training materials, conduct technical training, and contribute to FMEA and risk mitigation activities.

Requirements

• University degree in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, materials science, microsystems engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or a comparable high-tech production environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of dry and/or wet etching processes and semiconductor manufacturing technologies is desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with production, maintenance, quality, and development teams.
• Good German and English communication skills, written and spoken, are required.
