Application Engineering Manager - Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry (m/f/d)

Location: Germany, Waldbronn; travel throughout Europe up to 25% of the time

What you will do

• Manage the chromatography and mass spectrometry Application Specialists team within the European Commercial, Sales & Application Organization.
• Support sales opportunities by developing applications and demonstrating instrumentation and workflows for customers.
• Hire, develop, and grow a diverse, highly skilled team of Application Specialists.
• Maintain and develop application demonstration centers and improve their capabilities.
• Establish KPIs, improve processes and strategies, and increase scalability and efficiency.
• Coordinate workflow and solution expertise with sales representatives, product specialists, marketing, and other application teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in instrumental analysis; a PhD is preferred.
• Several years of experience in an hirify.global or competitor environment.
• Detailed knowledge of chromatography and mass spectrometry technologies, including application development and commercialization.
• Proven experience managing sales projects and driving market growth.
• Strong leadership, commercial, organizational, planning, collaboration, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English and German are required.
