Network Automation and Platform Engineer

Location: Fully remote, based in Hortolandia, São Paulo, Brazil

What you will do

• Own the health, modernization, automation, and continuous improvement of platforms supporting network operations, observability, identity services, and infrastructure management.
• Evaluate technical, operational, and business requirements, identify risks, and determine effective solutions.
• Design, test, integrate, and automate systems across multiple platforms using APIs, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support application onboarding, migrations, upgrades, platform transformations, vendor management, and decommissioning.
• Define platform roadmaps and modernization strategies while improving reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with leadership and technical teams to align technology investments with business objectives.

Requirements

• Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, network engineering with automation, DevOps, SRE, or enterprise monitoring and observability.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration, Ansible/AWX, GitHub or GitLab, ServiceNow integrations, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience supporting vulnerability management, security remediation, penetration testing, audit readiness, compliance, and CI/CD pipelines for network provisioning.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud hosting architecture; AWS experience is beneficial.
• Experience developing or consuming REST API integrations and working across technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, judgment, process improvement, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Production-grade Python automation development experience.
• Experience with Cisco management tools such as Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, CMX, or Prime.
• Experience with public-cloud software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture.
• Experience with enterprise networking, cloud-hosted application architectures, platform modernization, and application lifecycle management.
