Derivatives Sales Trader Co-op with Drexel University (Derivatives)

Location: Bala Cynwyd (Philadelphia Area), Pennsylvania, United States; onsite co-op starting March 2027. Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available now or in the future.

What you will do

• Assist sales traders with client relationships and responses to market inquiries.
• Collaborate with derivatives strategy and research teams on trade ideas and market analysis.
• Improve workflows to support institutional client needs and increase efficiency.
• Build and maintain Excel tools, with optional Python or SQL, to support trading and automate reporting.
• Participate in desk discussions and real-time market decision-making.
• Develop an understanding of how derivatives are priced, traded, and positioned across markets.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets, particularly derivatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics background is beneficial.
• Prior Python, SQL, or VBA experience is beneficial.
