Sourcing Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Claremore, Oklahoma, United States

Salary: $35–$40 per hour on W-2, inclusive of all compensation.

What you will do

• Place and follow up on purchase orders and manage supplier relationships through order execution.
• Manage order problems, schedule changes, shortages, and supplier delivery performance.
• Expedite purchase orders and proactively communicate parts shortages while driving solutions.
• Update ERP records and provide order-status information to colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Support special projects focused on purchase-order management, process improvement, and supply continuity.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent sourcing experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and independent-work skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort communicating cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• SAP experience, especially purchasing and Materials Management.
• Experience with direct materials in a manufacturing environment, including expediting and shortage management.
• Experience with outside processing.
