Construction Designer / Structural Detailer

Location: Remote from Manila, Philippines; AU working hours and holidays

Salary: PHP 80,000–120,000 per month

What you will do

• Translate client briefs, specifications, and tender requirements into 3D models, architectural drawings, site layouts, and Development Approval packages.
• Model structural steel in Autodesk Revit and detail light gauge steel framing in Framecad.
• Prepare production, sales, and as-built drawing packages for manufacturing and assembly.
• Coordinate documentation with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and multidisciplinary teams from initial design through manufacturing.
• Participate in product inspections and handover of manufactured modular units.
• Maintain drawing registers and transmittal records while managing design resources within project budgets.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of design and drafting experience in the building industry, including at least 2 years working offshore for Australian companies.
• Formal qualifications in engineering, architecture, engineering drafting, building design drafting, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience using Framecad for light gauge steel detailing.
• Advanced Autodesk Revit experience for working drawings and structural steel modeling.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and building regulations.
• Professional communication, analytical problem-solving, autonomy, organization, and time management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience or specialized knowledge in modular building.
• Exposure to Tekla Structures or Advance Steel.
