Sr. Manager, Indirect Procurement (IT)

Location: Remote 100% from Ohio, US; travel less than 10%

What you will do

• Own indirect procurement categories, primarily SaaS, software licensing, cloud and hyperscaler services, infrastructure, hardware, telecom, networking, and IT services.
• Develop multi-year category strategies, roadmaps, savings targets, demand-management initiatives, and supplier-rationalization plans.
• Lead market research, supplier benchmarking, RFx processes, competitive bidding, supplier evaluations, and enterprise IT renewal cycles.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to deliver hard-dollar savings, cost avoidance, improved payment terms, and working-capital efficiency.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Engineering, Security, Marketing, HR, Legal, and executive stakeholders to define requirements and track savings.
• Use AI-enabled spend analytics, contract review, RFP authoring, and workflow automation to improve sourcing decisions and reduce cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement or sourcing experience, including at least 3 years in IT and technology sourcing.
• Experience managing category strategies, sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and multi-million-dollar IT or indirect-spend portfolios.
• Direct experience negotiating enterprise IT agreements with major software, cloud, SaaS, ERP, telecom, or infrastructure vendors.
• Strong knowledge of category management, IT commercial models, total cost of ownership, payment terms, cash-flow levers, contract management, and financial analysis.
• Must be based in Ohio, US; the role is remote 100%.

Nice to have

• CPSM, CIPS, or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in mid-sized or privately held companies focused on cost and cash efficiency.
