Cost Control Manager

What you will do

• Lead project cost management across budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and cost performance reporting.
• Monitor project performance against approved budgets and identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain estimate-at-completion, cash flow, and funding forecasts.
• Support change management by evaluating cost impacts and maintaining budget alignment.
• Provide cost analysis and forecasting insights to client and PMC leadership while coordinating accurate cost collection and reporting.
• Lead and develop the cost control team and promote cost management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, business, project management, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience in cost control, cost management, forecasting, or project controls for major capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting methodologies, project accounting interfaces, and performance analysis.
• Experience supporting large industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, energy, or infrastructure projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing projects.
• Experience in an Owner’s Representative, PMC, EPCM, or IPMT environment.
• Experience supporting multi-phase projects exceeding $500 million TIC.
• Proficiency with EcoSys, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, or similar project cost management and reporting systems.
• CCP, EVP, PMP, or equivalent project controls certification.
