Regional Project Controls Manager

Location: Remote from the United States, with approximately 50% travel to assigned plants; site assignments may last up to one month

What you will do

• Create and maintain Level 3 and Level 4 detailed schedules for PMO projects valued at $10 million–$250 million.
• Load budgets, track actual costs, forecast estimates at completion, and prepare cost, schedule, and cashflow reviews.
• Review client payment terms, develop payment schedules, and coordinate invoices and vendor installments with project progress.
• Travel to operating sites to audit costs, track complex outages, and meet with project teams and vendors.
• Support planners and cost resources, manage third-party resources, and mentor and train team members.
• Develop Primavera scopes of work, maintain project dashboards, and contribute to post-outage improvement reviews.

Requirements

• Project Controls experience building cost-loaded schedules and tracking outage costs.
• Experience with outage planning, large-scale planned maintenance, or comparable projects; power plant operations experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience tracking complex outages onsite across cost and schedule and reporting performance to senior management.
• Strong proficiency with Primavera or Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Excel, including spreadsheets, modeling, and pivot tables; Access proficiency is preferred.
• Financial acumen in project budgeting, actual-cost tracking, and estimate-at-completion forecasting.
• Ability to travel to assigned plants, work in tight spaces, and climb ladders and scaffolding; a four-year degree is desirable, while candidates with at least two years of direct experience may be considered with a high school diploma or equivalent.
