Senior Financial Project Manager (Accounting & Technical Controls)

What you will do

• Analyze complex provisions, liabilities, deferred revenue, commercial contracts, buybacks, warranties, and specialized service agreements under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage monthly and quarterly financial statement analyses, reserve studies, variance reporting, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Lead financial reviews and explain business variances and developments to senior accounting and controlling leadership.
• Oversee financial systems, data marts, SAP implementations, and automation initiatives in partnership with IT and business departments.
• Strengthen internal accounting controls, reporting structures, data accuracy, and legacy process automation.
• Partner with external auditors and serve as a subject matter expert during annual audit reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, tax, controlling, or corporate finance, including 10+ years in managerial capacities.
• Corporate accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting experience in complex industrial or multinational environments.
• Extensive enterprise financial systems experience, including SAP S/4HANA and multiple major finance system implementations.
• Advanced experience with Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Excel modeling, and quantitative diagnostic analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Active CPA license, Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation, MBA, or equivalent advanced qualification.
• Experience implementing international accounting standards and leading distributed teams through financial transformation projects.
