Senior Financial Project Manager (Accounting & Technical Controls)

What you will do

• Lead complex technical accounting analysis under US GAAP and IFRS for commercial contracts, buybacks, warranties, and specialized service agreements.
• Plan, forecast, and analyze multi-billion-dollar provisions, liabilities, and deferred revenue positions on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Manage financial statement analysis, variance reporting, budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and profitability models.
• Lead monthly financial reviews and present business developments and variances to senior accounting and controlling leadership.
• Oversee financial system implementations, including SAP, data marts, reporting improvements, and automation initiatives with IT and business teams.
• Support quarterly accounting studies, external audits, and the effectiveness of internal financial controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, tax, controlling, or corporate finance, including 10+ years in managerial capacities.
• Corporate accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting experience in complex industrial or multinational environments.
• Extensive experience with enterprise financial systems, including SAP S/4HANA, and multiple major finance system implementations.
• Advanced experience with Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Excel modeling, quantitative diagnostic analysis, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, executive presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Active CPA license, Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation, MBA, or equivalent advanced qualification.
• Experience implementing international accounting standards and leading distributed teams through financial transformation projects.
