Project Controls Manager, Document Controls (e-Builder)

Location: US | NJ | Parsippany - 6 Campus Drive; work focused on EWR Airport

Base compensation: $153,600–$230,400 annually

What you will do

• Lead the document controls program for capital projects at EWR Airport.
• Administer and optimize e-Builder configuration, workflows, permissions, forms, and reporting.
• Develop and enforce document control procedures and project controls standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and executives to maintain accessible and accurate project information.
• Generate executive-level reports and dashboards for project decision-making.
• Train, mentor, and support users with different levels of technical experience.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of progressive experience in project controls and document control management on large-scale engineering, construction, infrastructure, or aviation projects.
• At least 5 years administering e-Builder or similar capital project management software; deep e-Builder knowledge is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with workflow design, form creation, and data/report configuration in e-Builder.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, capital project lifecycles, compliance, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• e-Builder certification or formal training.
• Experience integrating e-Builder with ERP or financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or JD Edwards.
• Knowledge of construction or facilities management in a public or private sector organization.
