Business Strategy Lead (Banking)

Location: Remote or hybrid within the United States, excluding California. Primary locations include Monett, Missouri; Allen, Texas; Birmingham, Alabama; Charlotte, North Carolina; Louisville, Kentucky; and Springfield, Missouri. Travel up to 20%; occasional onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually, based on location and experience.

What you will do

• Advise senior banking executives and board members on technology strategy, digital transformation, industry trends, and competitive influences.
• Assess technology effectiveness, digital maturity, operational practices, and business process efficiency.
• Develop strategies, proposals, roadmaps, and transformational programs covering technology, organization, communications, and business processes.
• Research market trends, competitors, product demand, best practices, and technology capabilities to support client decisions.
• Gather and analyze information through stakeholder interviews, focus groups, consultations, and case-framework analysis.
• Present evidence-based recommendations and provide thought leadership to account teams and client executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15+ years of experience in banking, financial services consulting, or large-scale banking technology and transformation initiatives.
• Experience advising senior banking executives, including CIOs and technology leaders, on technology strategy and operational planning.
• Ability to work independently in an executive-level consulting capacity and develop strategic evaluations and roadmaps aligned with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for onsite executive engagements and relationship needs.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
