Senior Director, Corporate Strategy

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, with 3 days per week in the office. Candidates residing in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wisconsin are not being considered.

Salary: $191,250–$225,000, $212,500–$250,000, or $232,050–$273,000 annually, depending on the US pay region.

What you will do

• Own the company’s long-term and multi-year strategy, growth priorities, market expansion, and strategic tradeoffs.
• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, adjacencies, and strategic investments.
• Lead market, competitive, and industry analysis for executive and board decisions.
• Shape the business model across hardware, membership, partnerships, and services, including pricing, monetization, and unit economics.
• Advise the CEO, executive team, and board through clear strategic narratives and direct presentations.
• Build, lead, and develop the corporate strategy team while partnering with Product, Data Science, Hardware, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Business Development.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business strategy, or management consulting, including strategy leadership at a high-growth company.
• Experience in technology, consumer technology, SaaS, or hardware-enabled services.
• Strong understanding of business models, pricing, monetization, commercial strategy, and investment tradeoffs.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executives and boards on high-stakes decisions.
• Experience building and leading teams, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid San Francisco role with 3 office days per week.

• Success in top-tier strategy consulting or leadership of an in-house strategy function at a high-growth technology company.
