Director of Products & Engineering (CMH Health)

Location: Hybrid preferred at offices in Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; or Hartford, CT. Remote candidates will be considered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration support or sponsorship.

Salary: $165,100–$313,145 annually, with location-based ranges of $189,865–$313,145 or $165,100–$272,300.

What you will do

• Define the vision, target customers, value proposition, and multi-year roadmap for the hirify.global Pharmacy Platform.
• Lead product discovery with consultants and design-partner clients, then ship and iterate on an MVP using real usage data.
• Guide architecture decisions involving drug and claims data, integrations, multi-tenancy, security, scalability, and cost.
• Build AI capabilities including agents, retrieval over contracts and policy documents, natural-language analytics, and automated reasonability checks.
• Build and lead a cross-functional team of AI product engineers, feature owners, and technical program managers.
• Own commercial outcomes including pricing, pilots, renewals, expansion, client relationships, and industry representation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in product leadership, healthcare technology, pharmacy benefits, or healthcare consulting, including taking a product or platform from concept to paying customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in pharmacy-benefit domains including PBMs, reimbursement, rebates, formularies, specialty drugs, and regulations.
• Experience with platform architecture, data models, integrations, build-versus-buy decisions, and commercial product ownership.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI and LLM tooling to build or ship products.
• Experience building and developing teams, communicating with executives, and supporting sales and client relationships.

Nice to have

• PharmD, actuarial credential, MBA, or similar advanced training.
• Experience with drug and claims data sources, healthcare data standards, Medicare Part D, Medicaid pharmacy, or commercial pharmacy-benefit pricing.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS on a major cloud platform, preferably Azure.
• Consulting-firm or hybrid consulting/product-business experience.
• Industry visibility through publications, conference talks, or advisory roles.
