Director, Product Management (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in the United States; office attendance at least 3 days per week for candidates within reasonable commuting distance. Locations include Pleasanton, Seattle Metro, and New York.

Salary: $257,000–$322,000 per year, plus eligible short-term and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the Financial Close suite, including account reconciliations, transaction matching, and journal entry.
• Develop AI-agent capabilities that support reconciliation, matching, and journal activities under accountant governance.
• Expand the suite into adjacent Record-to-Report workflows, upstream transactional controls, new industries, and continuous-close use cases.
• Modernize products into composable platform capabilities and partner on AI/ML, data, agent orchestration, ERP-agnostic connectivity, and context graph initiatives.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Pricing, and Customer Success on packaging, pricing, positioning, business cases, OKRs, and success metrics.
• Lead, coach, and grow a product management team while establishing AI-native practices such as rapid prototyping and evaluation-driven development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, including 5–7+ years in a leadership role managing small teams.
• Experience bringing AI/ML products to market, ideally including generative AI or agentic capabilities, from discovery through monetization.
• Strong knowledge of LLM and agent architectures, evaluation and quality measurement, human-in-the-loop design, data requirements, and responsible AI.
• Deep expertise in financial close and Record-to-Report processes, accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements.
• Strategic thinking, executive communication, and ownership of product-line outcomes such as revenue, adoption, and retention.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CA.
• Accounting and finance experience in banking, financial services, or retail.
• Experience modernizing legacy products into composable, platform-based architectures.
