Chief Executive Officer (HHS Software)

What you will do

• Own hirify.global' P&L, financial performance, organizational health, and strategic execution.
• Grow the county Traverse and Grove business while expanding into state and adjacent HHS markets.
• Lead relationships with state HHS leaders, state CIOs, county HHS directors, systems integrators, and other ecosystem partners.
• Own product strategy and roadmaps, launch products with adoption, revenue, and margin targets, and apply AI to improve caseworker and engineering productivity.
• Build delivery capabilities for larger statewide implementations while protecting existing service quality.
• Develop the leadership team and maintain a mission-driven, caseworker-first culture.

Requirements

• Previous P&L ownership as a CEO, President, GM, or equivalent at a software business serving state or local government.
• Experience building or scaling a business in the state and local HHS market and established relationships with agency leaders.
• Experience running long-cycle growth opportunities while continuing to grow and protect a faster-moving core business.
• Track record of launching and growing products, including measurable adoption, revenue, and margin results.
• Ability to lead customer meetings, statewide capture, deal negotiations, hiring, and operational execution.
• Must be based in Dublin, Ohio, or work remotely from within the United States; travel is required.

Nice to have

• Experience capturing and delivering statewide HHS systems involving child welfare, child support, eligibility, or adult services.
• Experience with federal funding, approval processes, modular modernization, and state HHS procurement.
• Experience building AI-enabled products for regulated data.
• Experience in private equity, permanent-capital, or investor-owned environments.
