Chief of Staff (AI Infrastructure)

Nscale operates an AI infrastructure organization spanning data center development, construction, operations, power and energy, supply chain, hardware and systems engineering, and capacity planning.

What you will do

• Partner with the President of AI Infrastructure on annual and quarterly strategy, capacity planning, site pipelines, build-out roadmaps, and organizational scaling.
• Prepare executive presentations, board materials, business reviews, investor materials, and strategic recommendations covering capacity, capital deployment, and delivery performance.
• Establish operating rhythms and track capacity delivered, deployment schedules, capex budgets, uptime, utilization, safety, and other infrastructure metrics.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across development, construction, operations, supply chain, engineering, finance, and sales.
• Coordinate site launches, power and energy agreements, GPU and hardware supply programs, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Advise the President on strategic decisions, remove execution obstacles, and lead market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business case development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, infrastructure development, or high-growth cloud and infrastructure companies.
• Experience supporting executive leadership in a senior Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Strategy, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of planning, financing, building, and operating large-scale compute infrastructure.
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, including capex planning and project economics.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience managing multiple high-priority initiatives across geographically distributed teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI infrastructure, hyperscale cloud, data center development, energy, or telecommunications.
• Familiarity with capacity planning, power procurement, GPU and hardware supply chains, construction programs, PUE, uptime, and utilization metrics.
