Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $180,000–$270,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and deliver complex software releases for the Hivemind Enterprise platform.
• Lead initiatives to build command-and-control interfaces for autonomous systems.
• Coordinate engineering, product management, design, customer engagement, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
• Create project plans covering timelines, milestones, resources, budgets, and schedules.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and communicate progress and challenges.
• Facilitate technical decisions, prioritize work, manage complex trade-offs, and improve program management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in program management, engineering management, or software engineering; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted.
• Experience delivering complex software releases and integrated hardware/software systems.
• Strong technical foundation in software development and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze project efficiency, prioritize improvements, and drive measurable results.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira or comparable work management tools.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or an MBA.
• Previous experience as a software developer or test engineer.
• Enterprise software release experience, aviation domain experience, or expertise in autonomy, AI, or ML.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar qualification.
• Passion for User Experience Design.
