ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow)

Location: Hybrid at the Everforth hirify.global office in Fairfax, Virginia, up to 3 business days onsite per week, or onsite at JIATF-S, Naval Air Station Key West, Florida. Travel of up to 20% to CONUS/OCONUS locations may be required.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions, workflows, forms, catalogs, applications, and approval processes.
• Automate deployments, troubleshooting, monitoring, diagnostics, and business processes using ServiceNow platform tools.
• Gather business and technical requirements, guide governance discussions, and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Build REST API integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications.
• Create dashboards, reports, and performance analytics for operational insight.
• Support troubleshooting, data protection, customer experience improvements, and collaboration with government stakeholders and engineering teams.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• Certified DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher, active or obtainable within 60 calendar days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting ServiceNow or similar SaaS tools.
• Strong experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Service Catalog, Notifications, ACLs, and ITSM modules.
• Strong JavaScript skills, REST API integration experience, problem-solving ability, and professional communication skills.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or CIS certification.
• Azure AZ-103 or AZ-104 certification.
• Experience with Windows and Linux endpoints, cloud networking, ARM/Bicep, Bash, Python, SSO/Federation, Active Directory, or Azure AD.
• TypeScript experience.
