Business Systems Analyst II

Location: Work from home; Remote

Salary: $63,500–$93,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize requirements.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and system specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, quality assurance teams, and business partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support system implementation, testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing application analysis.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and maintain project documentation, process maps, and training materials.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of business systems analysis or related experience.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and system requirements.
• Experience supporting technology projects and business system implementations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/Lean frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of experience with Waterfall SDLC or Agile/Lean methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
• Experience with enterprise business systems, process improvement, or professional certifications in business analysis, Agile, or project delivery.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or another highly regulated industry.
