Business Systems Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; flexible schedules include work-from-home options.

Salary: $83,000–$160,500 annually, depending on work location, knowledge, position level, and experience.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product management, users, stakeholders, software engineers, and delivery teams to understand and articulate business needs.
• Document business, data, and product requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create and maintain user stories, process flow diagrams, test plans, and other product delivery artifacts.
• Facilitate requirements discovery sessions and review documentation with stakeholders and product teams.
• Assess the risks and impacts of changes across systems, integrations, processes, users, UI/UX, and architecture.
• Participate in root cause analysis of data and process issues and help product teams develop effective solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Strong capabilities in requirements discovery, elicitation, documentation, and functional specification development.
• Experience with systems thinking, process mapping, data analysis, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability.
• Ability to facilitate stakeholders at different levels and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Relevant professional experience; a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, or similar industry software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
