Vice President, Consolidations

What you will do

• Lead enterprise consolidation activities, including inter-company and inter-segment eliminations, corporate consolidation accounting, the consolidated general ledger, and the consolidated trial balance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Review complex journal entries, reconciliations, transactions, and reporting issues for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with Financial Reporting, Business Unit Controllers, Treasury, Information Technology, auditors, and other Finance teams to resolve complex accounting matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, documentation, and reporting processes while accelerating close timelines and reducing manual effort.
• Lead, coach, evaluate, and develop managers and accounting associates, including hiring and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; degrees in Business Administration or Finance are also listed.
• At least 12 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years leading accounting, financial reporting, or consolidation teams.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting concepts, financial statement consolidation, management reporting, general ledger systems, and internal controls.
• Strong ability to analyze consolidated financial statements, resolve complex accounting issues, and communicate financial matters to executive leadership.
• SIE registration is required unless an exemption or grandfathering provision applies.
• Series 99 may be required depending on the assigned functional area and must be obtained within 120 days when applicable.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with process redesign, automation, AI, and other technology used to improve consolidation and reporting.
