Vice President, Global Accounting

Location: Remote, United States

Annual base salary: $213,030–$286,670, plus potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead an organization of approximately 16 professionals across accounting operations, consolidated financial reporting, and treasury.
• Oversee corporate accounting, general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, lease accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Build scalable accounting policies, processes, systems, controls, and documentation for public-company standards.
• Design and implement a SOX compliance framework and strengthen SEC-quality reporting and audit readiness.
• Standardize and optimize global accounting processes while improving close speed, accuracy, automation, and financial information access.
• Strengthen treasury, liquidity, cash management, working capital, and financial risk management while developing accounting talent.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience leading complex accounting organizations in a global environment.
• Public-company accounting experience and deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX, and audit requirements.
• Demonstrated success leading accounting transformation, process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• Strong executive presence, communication, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional leadership skills.
