What you will do

• Analyze financial and business information to assess creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
• Complete financial spreads, risk ratings, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and portfolio monitoring activities.
• Underwrite complex commercial loans using financial statement and collateral analysis, financial modeling, industry research, business risk evaluation, and management assessment.
• Research industries and markets, distilling key themes and conclusions into concise presentation materials.
• Support portfolio management coverage under the oversight of a Director-level portfolio manager.
• Assist with training and mentoring Analyst-level colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in underwriting or a commercial banking environment.
• FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or completion of the SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 exams within four months of hire.
• High attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required.
