PLM Systems Administrator (Teamcenter)

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, configure, upgrade, and patch Siemens Teamcenter and related PLM environments.
• Support web, enterprise, and database layers across production and test environments.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and provide day-to-day support, training, and documentation for engineering users.
• Manage environment refreshes, deployments, and basic automation of repeatable administrative tasks.
• Support new features, modules, integrations, and enhancements across PLM, ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.
• Maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures while coordinating with infrastructure, engineering, business systems, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience administering or supporting PLM systems; Teamcenter experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLM concepts, including product structures, workflows, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments and system administration fundamentals such as patching, monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of database-backed applications and multi-tier architectures.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Siemens Teamcenter installation, configuration, or support experience.
• Experience integrating CAD systems such as NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, Azure, VMware, or similar automation and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, PLM, ERP, or MES environments.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or defense-related environment.
