PLM Administrator (PTC Windchill)

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Administer and support PTC Windchill, including user access, data structures, lifecycles, workflows, maintenance, updates, patches, backups, and performance tuning.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations between Windchill, Creo, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Keysight, Microsoft D365, and Aegis MES.
• Implement workflows, migrate legacy documents and CAD files, and improve PLM processes and configurations.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation to improve data flow and reduce manual effort.
• Provide technical support to engineering and manufacturing teams and gather requirements across functions.
• Ensure PLM processes comply with applicable aerospace and regulatory standards, including ITAR and AS9100.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent education with 5+ years of relevant PLM experience.
• At least 5 years of experience administering, installing, developing, upgrading, or maintaining PLM platforms, preferably PTC Windchill.
• In-depth knowledge of formal engineering change procedures and PLM configuration best practices.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools, ERP or MES integrations, and PCB design tools such as Zuken or Altium Designer.
• Proficiency across Windows and Linux environments, including software installation and troubleshooting.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of hands-on PTC Windchill experience in aerospace or defense.
• Scripting or automation experience with Python, Shell, or Java.
• Experience with ITAR, DoD programs, or FAA-regulated environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information.
• Interest in space and advanced technology.
