Systems Administrator (Enterprise Applications)

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid workplace. The role may require occasional travel, nights, weekends, or on-call work, and involves working in a facility with industrial hazards.

What you will do

• Provide primary technical support for enterprise applications, resolve user tickets, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, group assignments, and role-based access control.
• Maintain application workflows, user interfaces, configurations, and technical documentation.
• Deliver user training and support knowledge sharing through standard operating procedures and technical guides.
• Audit software licenses, automate administrative tasks and reporting, and assist with user acceptance testing and system validation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data flows and digital thread connections between enterprise systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related STEM field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience troubleshooting complex issues, identifying root causes, and applying logical solutions.
• Strong end-user support, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Understanding of conditional logic, basic programming concepts, and data flows across connected systems.
• Ability to work extended periods while typing, standing, or sitting, and willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, travel, or on-call shifts.
• Ability to work in an industrial facility containing hazards such as heat, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, pressure systems, and cryogenics.

Nice to have

• Experience with Teamcenter, Designcenter/NX, Odoo, Manufacturo/Opcenter, or AVEVA.
• Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
• Scripting or database query experience with Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
• Experience with XML, HTML, CSS, Mendix, Jira, or Confluence.
• Previous technical support, IT service desk, or systems administration experience.
