System Administrator II (AWS)

What you will do

• Provision, configure, monitor, and sustain AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, and EventBridge.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux workstations, enterprise servers, virtual machines, system software, permissions, group policies, and user accounts.
• Develop and execute Infrastructure as Code, primarily with Ansible Playbooks, and support automated deployment and CI/CD workflows.
• Maintain system patches and operating systems in accordance with STIG compliance requirements.
• Execute Build Test Frameworks, monitor resources, investigate event logs, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Scan systems and support vulnerability remediation using ACAS while documenting configurations, troubleshooting, and implementations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain or maintain a U.S. national security clearance are required.
• 2–5 years of system administration experience.
• Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL and CentOS, and Windows Server 2020/2022.
• Experience with virtual machines, AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure, STIGs, ACAS, and information assurance compliance.
• Automation and scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability to obtain it after hire, plus user-support experience.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications such as CompTIA Cloud+, ISC2 CCSP, or VMware cloud certifications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Active Directory, AWS IAM, OpenAM, or Keycloak.
• Experience with AWS Systems Manager or Azure Monitor.
