Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: Austin, TX; responsible for the North Austin/Georgetown, TX field territory. Remote workplace type with field-based vehicle inspections and customer interactions.

Salary: $30.53 per hour / $61,500 annually; listed salary range of $30.53–$47.31. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for licensed candidates.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and assess accident-related damage.
• Review insurance contracts, write repair estimates, and negotiate equitable settlements.
• Consult with customers and other involved parties to resolve concerns.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Manage rental cars and support a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer-facing experience and high-volume call-center experience with KPIs are preferred.
• Employment authorization sponsorship is not available for new applicants.

Nice to have

• Active adjuster’s license; training and examination fees are provided.
• College degree.

Hiring process

• Complete a paid trainee program with three weeks of hands-on training at the Ashburn, Virginia facility and two weeks at a field training center in New York, Texas, or California.
