Quality Manager, Electrical (AI Data Centers)

Location: Houston, TX; onsite with long-term travel and/or short-term relocation required. Expect 3–6 month periods at each project location before moving to the next.

What you will do

• Develop and manage site-specific QA/QC programs for data center construction projects.
• Create and execute Inspection and Test Plans across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, life safety, and plumbing scopes.
• Perform field inspections and verify compliance with drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and applicable codes.
• Review subcontractor quality plans, test plans, method statements, and material submittals.
• Manage non-conformance reports, corrective actions, third-party inspections, and special testing.
• Maintain quality records and support commissioning, turnover, design reviews, and project reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Direct experience developing and executing ITPs and managing NCR or deficiency tracking on active construction sites.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and IBC, NEC, ASHRAE, and related standards.
• Experience coordinating third-party and special inspections in accordance with AHJ requirements.
• Ability to maintain quality documentation packages and communicate technical deficiencies clearly.
• Excellent written communication skills for NCRs, inspection reports, and quality status summaries.

Nice to have

• QA/QC experience in data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical facility construction.
• Familiarity with commissioning protocols and functional performance testing.
• Experience with Procore or equivalent construction management platforms.
• ICC, CWI, or other relevant trade-specific inspection certifications.
• Experience across multiple simultaneous construction sites or programs.
