Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship is required. Travel expectations: 25%.

Salary: $148,750–$201,250 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate persistent platform environments for development, testing, internal dogfooding, customer demos, and stakeholder access.
• Build feature-branch and preview environments that enable rapid UX feedback and self-service demos and trials.
• Integrate Fleet Management, Edge Management, operating system, and related distributed system components.
• Develop reproducible infrastructure as code and reduce reliance on local environments.
• Own the reliability and usability of shared environments while improving developer experience.
• Partner with engineering, product, and UX to align platform environments with real user scenarios and product architecture.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused software engineering.
• Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based systems.
• Experience building and operating shared or multi-tenant environments and integrating distributed services.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or Pulumi, as well as CI/CD, GitOps, deployment pipelines, and Linux/Unix systems.
• Strong problem-solving, independent working, and cross-functional communication skills.
