People Partner – Product & Engineering (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with in-office attendance three days per week in either Bellevue, WA, or Menlo Park, CA, United States

Salary: $126K–$164.8K annually

What you will do

• Advise Product and Engineering leaders and teams on talent, team effectiveness, and day-to-day people decisions.
• Coach managers on expectations, feedback, performance challenges, and leadership development.
• Partner on performance reviews, calibration cycles, promotions, compensation cycles, succession planning, and retention.
• Analyze engagement, attrition, and performance data using Workday reporting and AI tools, then turn insights into action.
• Support complex employee situations and collaborate with Employee Relations and People Centers of Excellence.
• Help technical teams scale, reorganize, and evolve while maintaining momentum.

Requirements

• 7+ years of HR or People experience, including people partnering or generalist work.
• Hands-on experience advising managers through performance challenges, review cycles, and calibrations.
• Strong coaching skills and the ability to lead direct, empathetic conversations.
• Comfort interpreting people metrics and turning data into recommendations.
• Ability to build credibility with technical managers, push back constructively, and operate independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Applied interest in AI and its impact on the People Partner role.

• Experience supporting Engineering, Product, or other technical organizations in a fast-paced environment.
