People Business Partner

Location: Charlotte, NC, US; travel up to 30% required.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annual base pay, depending on experience and location; paid weekly.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to translate business goals into people strategies.
• Advise on organizational design, team effectiveness, leadership capability, and workforce planning.
• Drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, retention, and development initiatives.
• Support employee engagement programs and use survey feedback to improve team effectiveness.
• Partner with Employee Relations on investigations, escalations, and complex employee matters.
• Use HR data and metrics to identify trends, manage risks, and inform recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HRBP or generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and employment law.
• Experience influencing leaders across multiple levels and supporting multi-site, operational, or high-growth environments.
• Excellent communication, judgment, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to build trust, handle sensitive matters discreetly, and use metrics to inform decisions.
