Senior/Staff HR Business Partner (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; New York, NY or San Francisco, CA

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year for candidates in the U.S.

What you will do

• Partner with leaders on organizational design, headcount planning, team structure, and leveling.
• Coach managers and executives on performance, feedback, career development, and difficult conversations.
• Own complex employee relations cases from intake through resolution, partnering with Legal when needed.
• Collaborate with Compensation and Talent Acquisition on offers, promotions, and market adjustments.
• Use headcount, attrition, engagement, and performance data to identify risks and recommend action.
• Design and roll out manager training, engagement initiatives, and other people programs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of HR experience, including at least 4 years as an HR Business Partner supporting fast-growing teams.
• Experience at a high-growth company, ideally during periods of rapid headcount growth.
• Track record of advising senior leaders and earning their trust.
• Strong employee relations experience with sound judgment and discretion.
• Working knowledge of employment law, compensation practices, and performance management frameworks.
• Clear communication, independence, ownership, and a team-first approach in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
