Senior Project Manager, SCGT

Location: US, Flexible, TX; onsite. Travel to project, supplier, utility, partner, and operating locations is required as needed.

What you will do

• Lead simple-cycle gas turbine projects from execution planning through construction, commissioning, commercial operation, and turnover to Operations.
• Manage combustion turbines, generators, fuel-gas systems, electrical systems, controls, balance-of-plant equipment, and site infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain execution plans, governance structures, integrated schedules, budgets, forecasts, risk registers, change logs, and performance dashboards.
• Define scopes of work and support RFP development, bidder evaluation, negotiations, contract awards, and execution readiness.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Finance, Legal, Environmental, Permitting, Safety, contractors, OEMs, utilities, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee design reviews, constructability, value engineering, site readiness, installation, testing, startup, performance testing, punch-list closeout, project records, and turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 5–10 years of experience in power generation, industrial, infrastructure, or energy construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, contracts, schedules, budgets, risk, quality, safety, and project documentation.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and resolve complex technical, commercial, and execution issues.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant project systems; ability to travel to project and partner locations.
