Senior Project Manager (Fuel Cells)

Location: On-site in the United States; US, Flexible, TX. Travel to project, supplier, utility, partner, and operating locations is required as needed.

What you will do

• Lead the execution of fuel-cell and gas-fueled distributed generation projects from site validation through acceptance and turnover.
• Manage project execution plans, governance, integrated schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, changes, and performance reporting.
• Define scopes of work and support RFPs, bidder evaluations, negotiations, contract awards, and execution readiness.
• Represent the owner with EPC contractors, OEMs, engineering firms, utilities, suppliers, authorities, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, finance, legal, environmental, permitting, and safety teams.
• Oversee design reviews, construction, equipment logistics, installation, testing, energization, commissioning, startup, performance testing, closeout, and operational handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 10 or more years of experience in distributed generation, fuel cells, gas power, industrial, electrical, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, contracts, schedules, budgets, risk, quality, safety, and project documentation.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and resolve complex technical, commercial, and execution issues.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant project systems, with the ability to travel as required.
