Business Analyst (Finance Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in the Greater Seattle Area, with work from the Downtown Seattle office on Mondays and Thursdays. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $83,931–$108,167 annual base salary in the greater Seattle area, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze and narrate financial metrics, marketplace trends, and business performance for the Finance organization.
• Maintain and develop forward-looking models for repeat customers, including performance analysis against forecasts.
• Monitor existing metrics, build new metrics, and investigate the root causes of positive and negative changes.
• Present insights, metric drivers, and recommended actions to senior leadership and finance stakeholders.
• Partner with Accounting, Tax, Product, Product Analytics, and technical teams on reporting, experiments, new business lines, and regulatory changes.
• Improve reporting through automation, simplification, and data models that support business decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analytics.
• Experience with data-informed decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining data narratives to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Familiarity with finance and accounting principles, including financial statements.
• Fluency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Experience with data infrastructure or engineering teams, data model optimization, and Python, R, or a similar computational language.
