Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $187,000–$257,000 in Zone 1; $168,000–$231,000 in Zone 2; $158,000–$218,000 in Zone 3, plus RSUs and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable backend services, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and web applications for the AgentControl product.
• Develop systems for AI evaluations, agent observability, prompt and workflow optimization, and production guardrails.
• Work primarily with Go, Python, and TypeScript alongside AWS, CockroachDB, Datadog, DeepEval, and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering teams to define features and improve GenAI workflows.
• Drive architecture and design discussions while optimizing system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Own production code, participate in on-call rotations, and support teammates through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience and a track record of shipping production-quality full-stack features.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and production-ready code.
• Experience with distributed systems or data ingestion.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, or deploying AI services in production.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building GenAI features or agents and working with large language models.
• Experience integrating models directly or using OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, or AWS Bedrock APIs.
