Senior Application Engineer (Python/JavaScript/TypeScript)

Location: Remote

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Build full-stack applications and workflows that bring AI/ML insights to end users.
• Develop Python backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized application delivery solutions.
• Create performant front-end experiences with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud or Azure, including asynchronous events and managed services.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational or NoSQL databases, including schema migrations.
• Contribute to testing, CI/CD, release management, security, Agile ceremonies, and non-functional quality requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience developing full-stack applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience building RESTful APIs and containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong front-end skills with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with Google Cloud services, microservices architecture, and 12-factor application methodology.
• Strong database experience with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks, configuration and secret management, Agile/Scrum, troubleshooting, debugging, and system design.
