Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $200,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building a platform for buying, selling, vaulting, and financing collectible cards, with real-time pricing and lending products.

What you will do

• Implement the underwriting redesign as a versioned, explainable production decisioning service in collaboration with Data Science.
• Automate the loan lifecycle from application and underwriting through disbursement, servicing, repayment, delinquency, and collateral release.
• Investigate and eliminate failed, duplicated, delayed, and stuck disbursements across ACH, RTP, and wire rails.
• Build borrower experiences for offers, acceptance, disbursement status, repayment, payoff, and loan history across web and mobile.
• Develop internal operator and triage tooling for Credit, Operations, and Support.
• Integrate payments with the ledger so movements post, reconcile, and remain auditable.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and scaling production applications across backend and frontend.
• Production experience with Python, Postgres, AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure, React, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Experience owning a lending, credit, or payments workflow, including real-money movement on ACH, RTP, FedNow, wires, or equivalent rails.
• Strong understanding of workflow and state-machine design, retries, timeouts, compensation, audit trails, webhooks, idempotency, eventual consistency, and reconciliation.
• Expert SQL and relational design, including transactions that remain reliable during scheduled payment batches.
• Experience implementing credit decisioning or underwriting logic with Data Science using shadow mode, backtesting, versioning, and controlled rollout.

Nice to have

• Experience with Temporal, Step Functions, Stripe, Plaid, Modern Treasury, Increase, asset-backed lending, KYC/KYB, bank partnerships, or audit readiness.
• Credit or risk modeling experience, design systems, or internal tooling for operations teams.
• Experience collecting or knowledge of the trading-card market.
