Corporate Counsel (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; hybrid workplace model with at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Provide legal research, analysis, drafting, and practical advice on corporate matters and strategic projects.
• Support intellectual property matters involving trademarks, copyright, brand protection, licensing, confidentiality, and commercial agreements.
• Advise on corporate office leases, facilities agreements, property transactions, and property disputes.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on procurement, vendor, technology, software, SaaS, marketing, and professional services agreements.
• Review AI-enabled product and service agreements, identifying issues involving data use, model training, confidentiality, intellectual property, output rights, human oversight, indemnities, and risk allocation.
• Support disputes, litigation, investigations, privacy and data protection matters, and develop templates, playbooks, training materials, and legal processes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or both.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong legal analysis, judgment, written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate in a global, matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• Experience in intellectual property, corporate real estate, procurement, technology contracts, litigation management, privacy, or data protection.
• Familiarity with AI-related legal and contracting issues, regulated-industry or in-house experience, and cross-disciplinary or cross-border matters.
