Asset Maintenance Lead (CNC Manufacturing)

Location: Huntington Beach, California, United States; onsite manufacturing role with up to 20% travel to other company facilities and projects.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 USD annually, plus performance incentives, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for CNC machines and other critical manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, cooling, and controls-related failures.
• Coordinate equipment repairs, calibrations, installations, commissioning, relocations, upgrades, and OEM service activities.
• Develop reliability programs, equipment criticality rankings, maintenance priorities, and metrics including uptime, downtime, PM compliance, MTBF, and MTTR.
• Manage CMMS records, work orders, asset histories, maintenance procedures, OEM documentation, and critical spare-parts inventories.
• Provide technical direction to maintenance technicians and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities, EHS, Quality, and Operations.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment maintenance, CNC maintenance, machine-tool service, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting CNC equipment from manufacturers such as DMG MORI, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or DN Solutions/Doosan.
• Experience with mechanical systems, industrial electrical systems, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, machine controls, schematics, and OEM documentation.
• Experience developing or executing preventive maintenance programs and working with a CMMS or maintenance work-order platform.
• Must satisfy U.S. ITAR/export-control eligibility requirements and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery, follow Lockout/Tagout requirements, perform physical maintenance activities, and work extended hours or weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of industrial or CNC/machine-tool maintenance experience or prior experience as a CNC Field Service Technician, Maintenance Lead, or Senior Maintenance Technician.
• OEM training or certifications involving DMG MORI, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or similar manufacturers.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial controls, advanced multi-axis machine tools, predictive maintenance, and reliability programs.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, precision machining, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
