FPGA Design Engineer

What you will do

• Design and develop digital systems on FPGA for high-speed scientific cameras.
• Drive FPGA top-level integration, floor planning, synthesis, and timing closure.
• Integrate VHDL/Verilog modules, IP subsystems, embedded microprocessors, and SoCs.
• Develop and maintain system-level simulation environments.
• Optimize FPGA architectures to meet demanding power consumption and speed requirements.
• Identify opportunities for IP reuse across multiple hardware platforms.

Requirements

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience developing FPGA RTL modules with VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with Intel Quartus, preferably, or Xilinx Vivado.
• Expertise in FPGA system integration, floor planning, synthesis, and timing closure.
• Experience with Intel Qsys, Platform Designer, or similar FPGA system definition tools; partial and dynamic FPGA reconfiguration; and DDRx memory controllers.
• Experience with USB, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, LVDS, SERDES, PCIe Gen3/4, CoaXPress, and USB 3.2 interfaces.
