Regional Senior Manager, Origination, Latam (Carbon Finance)

What you will do

• Source, assess, oversee, and manage emission reduction projects involving sustainable technologies and carbon finance.
• Develop project leads and opportunities across Latin America in line with regional and corporate sourcing strategies.
• Build relationships with project partners, developers, sustainability organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate commercial, investment, project, and regional teams on project opportunities and sourcing activities.
• Manage CRM records, sourcing documentation, due diligence, financing plans, budgets, and technical, financial, and legal materials.
• Lead resource planning, team development, site visits, business trips, and project-related process improvements.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Engineering, or Environmental Management.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in business development or partnership management.
• Experience managing teams, setting priorities, and allocating resources.
• Solid knowledge of Article 6, carbon standards including VCS and Gold Standard, and nature-based solutions projects.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills are required.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
