Account Executive, Sales

Location: Augusta, Georgia, United States

What you will do

• Generate advertising revenue by working with established agencies and developing new prospects.
• Make sales calls, maintain assigned accounts, and build relationships with local businesses.
• Prepare and deliver advertising sales presentations, including information about media placement rates.
• Explain how television and other advertising formats can effectively promote client products and services.
• Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
• Collaborate with clients and station personnel to create advertisements and achieve revenue goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least one year of sales experience, preferably in the media industry.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Experience setting long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
