Power Platform Developer

Location: Hybrid role in Fairfax, Virginia, United States; local candidates only, with occasional short-notice on-site work required in Northern Virginia/Fairfax

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations for business decision-making.
• Develop Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint solutions, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Integrate and transform data from SQL databases, SharePoint, Excel, Microsoft 365, and other approved sources.
• Perform systems analysis, development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and solution enhancements.
• Apply application lifecycle management practices, including solution management, deployment pipelines, releases, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into secure, reliable technical solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance; Secret Clearance is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards, data visualization, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and integrations across multiple data sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience supporting the Defense Health Agency, Department of Defense, or federal government environments.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications, Dataverse, Microsoft Teams integrations, or Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Experience with SharePoint Online governance, SQL, ALM, deployment pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and recommending automation improvements.
