Lead Software Development Engineer (Dynamics 365)

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $133,900–$190,750 base pay per year, with potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Analyze merger and acquisition requirements and configure Dynamics 365 entities, fields, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and business process flows.
• Gather requirements from finance, HR, operations, sales, and other stakeholders through workshops and process analysis.
• Configure data models, security roles, integrations, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps solutions.
• Coordinate custom object and plugin development with developers, including technical specifications, architecture collaboration, code reviews, and solution validation.
• Plan data migration, validate integrations, assess data quality, and document mapping and transformation logic.
• Design testing, training, deployment, change management, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• 3+ years of experience with mergers and acquisitions or system consolidation initiatives.
• Expertise with Dynamics 365 Sales, Service, or Finance & Operations modules.
• Experience with business process flows, workflows, automated processes, data migration, and system integration.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and understand custom code implementations, APIs, plugins, JavaScript, and C# concepts.
• Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and project delivery skills across Agile and Waterfall environments.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or higher certification.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP consolidation scenarios.
• Experience with custom plugin development, C# coding, third-party Dynamics 365 extensions, ERP or CRM implementations, and business process re-engineering.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants or technical staff.
