Facilities Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Morton, Illinois, United States; 100% on-site with no hybrid or remote schedules. First shift, Monday–Friday, with up to 20% domestic travel. Relocation is not offered.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

What you will do

• Execute facility projects supporting distribution center capacity, capability, safety, and operational needs.
• Assess and coordinate improvements to warehouse and office infrastructure, including lighting, dock equipment, roadways, flooring, security, and architectural elements.
• Support office renovations, space planning, furniture, layouts, lighting, and workspace configuration.
• Manage custodial services and coordinate cafeteria facility and equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot facility issues, perform root-cause analysis, and monitor facility conditions.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and improvements with internal partners and external service providers.

Requirements

• Accuracy, attention to detail, collaboration, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of project management strategies and the ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Construction or facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to turn plans into practical solutions, with strong spatial awareness and visualization skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
